Application Guildlines and Expectations
- Before you apply, please take a moment to read our guild charter. - All applicants that are accepted into the guild are place on a trial period that may last anywhere from two weeks to thirty days. During this trial period, you will be evaluated on attendance, skill, and attitude. If we feel at the end of your trial period that you will make a good addition to our guild, you will be promoted to member status. If we feel you do not meet our expectations, we will explain to you why we feel you would not be a good addition to the guild, and then remove you. Keep in mind WE are taking the time to evaluate you as a potential member, if you get removed from the guild we owe you nothing. We do hope that every applicant becomes a full member, but unfortunately some will not. - You must have a minimum of some Karazhan/T4 equivalent gear. While we do understand there are amazing undergeared players out there, we simply do not have the time to gear you out. - We expect all of our members to have their gear enchanted and have decent gems in place. All epic loot MUST have the best possible PVE enchant and at least blue gems socketed. No exceptions. We feel the gems and enchants reflect the time you have invested in your character and your understanding of your class and spec. If you apply to us, with a T4 chest, and you have vendor gems in it, we take that as a sign that you don't care about raiding enough to even give you a chance. - We currently raid Wednesday-Friday 8:30pm - 11:30pm and Sunday 1pm - 7pm. Invites go out 15 minutes beforehand. You are required to have all consumables to last you for the entire raid, be at the zone, buffed, and ready to pull at start time. - We expect all members to read strategies, obtain consumables, and be ready to go on time for raids. You must be able to take constructive criticism, and improve from the advice you are given. If you make excuses and complain when the raid leader asks what you did wrong, this is probably not the place for you. We want people who are always looking for ways to make themselves better. - We spend a large percentage of our raid time working on new content. this includes hours of wiping, high repair bills, and many consumables. If you don't like to wipe, and refuse to farm for money or consumables, please don't apply. - We expect all of our members to try and maintain a 90% raid attendence average. We understand real life happens, in that case we expect you to post as soon as you know you are going to miss a raid. If you can not be here the vast majority of the time, do not apply. - We expect all members to pay attention and put forth their A game even on trash pulls. Just because we are doing trash pull does not mean it's time to slack off. If your the kind of person that will forget to do your healing assignment, go afk multiple times during the raid, or assist the wrong target everytime, this is not the guild for you. - We will not hold your hand and tell you how to play your class. This guild is not a place for slow learners. If you take offense to being yelled at or taking friendly bashing for wiping the raid, this is not the guild for you. We are looking for the best of the best, if you suck, we will tell you. - If after reading the above you feel Solaris is still the place for you, please return to our home page and use the "Apply Now" button below the picture of the gnome. |
